2023 Happy Canyon Sauvignon Blanc

Our estate vineyard is located in the warmest microclimate in the Santa Ynez Valley, which is the perfect setting for growing world class Sauvignon Blanc. Evenings become quite cool, which helps to lock in the bright acidity we look for in our Sauvignon Blanc. Those chilly Happy Canyon nights give way to dense early morning fog, which burns off quickly to allow for long afternoons full of bright sunshine, which helps our grapes to ripen perfectly on the vines and develop the lovely complex flavors you’ve come to expect in our “White Star of Bordeaux!”

Our 2023 Happy Canyon Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of green apple, fresh pineapple, and citrus pith. Flavors of lemon and nectarine greet the palate, laced with hints of peach and honeysuckle. This wine has a lovely softness and roundness to the finish, which balances beautifully with the bright acidity.
